Is my EWS64XL dead ???

Hi Folks,
tried to change the IRQ of my EWS64 using EWSCONF Utiltiy. Afterwards it didn?t come alive ... Now I am unable to use neither EWS64CFG nor EWS64NEW to change any settings.
After mentioning "UPDATING EEPROM" the config progrram stops and doesn?t go any further.

Something strange has happened since then during driver installation :
The CODEC is installing properly, even the GAMEPORT ... but when it comes to the third EWS Component the program says it could not find the appropriate driver !!!

Any help is appreciated !

PS : The EWS64 worked before without any trouble in my systems !

Iy you got rellay bad luck, your EWS 64 is really dead. Flashing an EPROM can fail and destroy the hardware.
But you could try to do a kind of factory reset. My german distribution of the EWS64 contains a program called EWS64NEU.exe. The manual says that this proggie should be able to restore a lost EEPROM. Read your manual to see if you got a similar program(I think that there must be one) and if you want to try it.

Last chance: send an e-mail to Terratec. Their support could help me already twice.
